Many people use programs like UTorrent and BitTorrent everyday and want to increase torrent speed download.
Torrents pretty much involve another person helping you out download something from the web. This is known as 'peer to peer file sharing'. Also while you are downloading a torrent you are, at the same time helping them out too. The more people downloading a torrent at a time the faster it will be.
Sometimes not a lot of people might be downloading a torrent file and you want it to go as fast as if there were people.

Increase Torrent Speed
Add A Firewall Exception
Your firewall might be an issue when it comes to download speeds. Make sure your client is an exception. To do this go to Options-Preferences-Connections- Make sure 'Add Windows Firewall Exception' is ticked.
Protocol Encryption
Sometimes your ISP might restrict you torrent download speed because they detect you are using a torrent. You are going to have to test the following tweak because it migth increase the speed for some or decrease for others.
You can try it out by going to Options-Preferences-BitTorrent- Under 'Protocol Encryption' make sure on Outgoing that its 'Enabled'.
Remember to test this tweak to see if you see an increase in your torrent speed download.
